Wrap-up for Season 723
So here’s a brief wrap-up for this hairy Season - thank you all so much for your participation.
We ended up with 57 entries on the playlist - a brilliant effort, especially considering the distractions and time constraints presented by the festive holiday season.
Just for fun, I had originally planned to pick my favourite 3 entries for a special mention, but it soon became clear that would be impossible - there were just way too many fantastic performances to choose between. You are all amazing! I would just like to single out Wendy @UkeCan1 and David @potmo for their dedication to the cause, managing 14 entries between them - almost 25% of the total number!
As I mentioned in my opening post, rather than awarding a prize this week, I have instead made a charitable donation of £1 for every Season entry, and in keeping with the hair theme (and as suggested by Wendy - thanks Wendy!), I rounded the total up to £60 and donated it to the Little Princess Trust, a charity that provides real hair wigs for free to child cancer patients - check out the link below for further details:

*Gift Aid is a UK government scheme that lets charities claim back basic rate tax (25p for every £1 donated) on eligible donations from UK taxpayers, boosting the donation's value at no extra cost to the donor - in this case the charity receives an extra £15, bringing the total donation to £75! 🙂👍🏼
