johnpoole I love this discussion - which I've only just found! John, you are so right in your summary of the rest of the Forum as it seems to exist without us - well, how it's ALWAYS appeared to me - the magnificent and thoroughly inconsequential "fellowship" of the ukulele, where the merits of various ukes and strings can be discussed ad infinitum, but heaven forbid that we should actually PLAY them! (Oh, and, yes, as you say … let's not forget our gardens, our cookery, our puzzles and our current reading matter!)
