I've been working on an original all week - which is now a twofer - and it's nearly done.
I'm staking my spot here before the final gong, and will come back and edit in the final video shortly.
(What can I say? I guess I'm more sinner than saint… 🤷♀️)
When I first heard the theme, a snippet of a song started playing in my head, remembered from childhood, that started something like "There's no sin in Cincinnati, there's no <something> in <some place>….". The line had a hint of a melody attached to it, so I figured I'd go find the song and do it for you.
Well, either I completely hallucinated this memory, or maybe it was a joke my dad made up long ago … or it's super obscure … because I could find not a single trace of it anywhere on the vast interwebs, including YouTube and Spotify.
It was too good of a hook not to bring you, so I figured I'd have to write it myself. Turns out there's more than enough fun reasonably recognizable US place names that sound like they contain other things for at least two songs … I left plenty more on the cutting room floor. See how many you recognize.
(I may come back and post lyrics and chords, as well as maybe identify all the places.)
Anyway, here's "Sin in Cincinnati", hot off the presses.
