chris667 Indeed. I did think about that, and decided that for the moment I was okay with them being found by embedding in the UU forums, but it is important that people know the distinction to decide for themselves. I might change my mind on that.
I am tempted to ask the UU admins, as a gesture of goodwill (Ha! Remember that?) if they are willing to delete my posts, at some point. But not yet. And I'm not sure they will anyway, because their terms and conditions allow them to keep them and nothing I have seen in the last couple of weeks suggests they have any goodwill towards us at all. I hope I'm wrong about that.
An as aside: while looking through my old videos, I watched some things from the last few years, and found it really quite encouraging to see how bad I was back then 🙂. By which I mean, I can see an identifiable improvement in my singing and playing. I imagine in a couple of years I'll cringe at the things I'm producing this week. And that's fine! Recording yourself has to be one of the best ways of improving, as long as you look back at it (painful as it is) because you can see where you're falling down and where you're improving.
