Thanks so much for your offers to help and suggestions Wendy, Del and Joo. I tried for a while this morning to switch my Playlist from "Private" to "Public" with no success, so I made a new list that is public. If it doesn't work, try the one that Joo made, which does work. Sorry Wendy, but both Joo and I bumped your first post to the end of the line.
- David made us a version of a song that has been done by 2 folks who share my birthday - Wonderful World.
He also stated, "But we don't care about SBW II."
Sonny Boy II (AKA Rice Miller) was one of the players that my brother and I listened to when we were trying to learn the mouth harp in the early sixties during the Great Folk Scare. We had a picture of Sonny Boy II on our bedroom wall and I bought a 14 hole low C Marine Band harp like he played. I still have it and it still works.

Wendy gave us a great version of Fast Car, by Tracy Chapman. I had a brush with fame moment with Tracy in 1988 at the Winnpeg Folk Festival. My son, Darcy, and I were in the Martin Guitar booth and a girl with a guitar case was also in there. We started talking and I asked her what she had in the case. She said it was a D-18e. During our conversation I said, "They weren't the most attractive guitar that Martin ever made." She agreed but said it was a gift and. . .
As we left, Darcy said, "Papa, do you know who that was?"
I told him that I had no idea and he said, "It was Tracy Chapman and you told her that her guitar was ugly."
I probably said, "Who's Tracy Chapman?"
I saw her play that night and became a fan. Darcy still tells the story that way.
