jon hi everyone 🙂 i thought it'd be a lovely idea to bring back, in honour of Randy, a weekly season prediction video for the Seasons of the Ukulele! he gave us a lot of joy and i feel like this is a nice way to carry on his memory. i wrote a little theme song and joo made a gorgeous watercolour, pencil and ink drawing of Randy to use in the videos for each week. i hope that this first one for season #741 gives you a smile 🙂
jon for those of you who haven't seen them, i made a playlist of Randy's original 'seasons of the ukulele' predictions they are awesome 🙂 link here: HARRY122 HAS SPOKEN: Randy's original 'Seasons of the Ukulele' prediction videos
DelGriff @jon What a fantastic idea, Jon - and a wonderful way to remember a much loved Seasons legend! Brilliant! 👍🏼 :-)
joo jon i hope that this first one for season #741 gives you a smile this sure gives me a huge smile jon! I predict David @potmo might give us a Reggae theme!
potmo Well sorry to disappoint. I like the idea of predicting the theme though. Someone might get a good idea for one. Of course you have to see the predictions before you post them.
joo jon that's a GREAT theme!!! Did you know? By posting at the time you post, a host who is due to publish the theme in a few hours can totally use your prediction as the theme! I am tempted to! But i am currently in brain-freeze mode. johnpoole I had 2 themes in mind, John. I ALMOST went with the one that is actually close to your prediction!!!
johnpoole Sabine? For 743 I’m predicting “ Roots, Lutes and Toots” folk music of the Lute and Saxophone.
jon johnpoole hahaha lmao mate 🙂 you're way better at this than i am. i'm gonna have to rope you in as my secret whisperer in the ear. sorta like buying & shares on the stock market at the right time…
joo I am predicting that Jon is predicting that Season 744 is gonna be songs about things that stick to your fingers and refuse to be cleaned.
jon joo lol joojoo. so now everyone knows i pick my nose… that's a great one actually - lots of options! snot, gum, dirt, glue, pollen etc etc… inspired! would make for an awesome week of songs 🙂
CanadaJim jon Do they sell this stuff in Tazmania? For flat pickers to prevent them losing their picks.
jon CanadaJim haha love it Jim. yes they do! um, i've held off trying it out for some reason lol 🙂
jon well, seems season #745 is upon us. Joko is hosting… hmmm, this could be the Ukulele Oracle's toughest challenge yet what say you Randy?
