OK. here is my version of an excerpt from The Butterfly Lovers, performed by many Teochew Opera troupes.
As mentioned in my previous post, it's about a lady who disguised as a man in order to attend classes. She fell for her classmate or roommate, who had no idea his best mate was a woman. The part I am singing from is where the lady was hinting to the clueless bookworm that she was NOT a he. (i know, she could have just told him straight. But I didn't write the story).

My mother is in hospital now with several issues, and I thought this might cheer her up. I am really lousy with my Teochew, and I don't really like Teochew opera, but my mother does. This legend is a famous one among Chinese people and it has been performed by all-women cast playing male characters.
