Teased by the doubtful Barber, who believes it to be merely his shaving basin and the Don to be a deluded old fool ... but supported by his loyal sidekick Sancho Panza, who moves everyone at the inn to be as inspired as he is by the power of his master's mad vision ... Don Quixote reverently dons first the silk handkerchief (dirty washrag) given him by his lady Dulcinea, then the historic helmet.
Everyone joins in on the soaring final chorus as the knight errant and his page ride off to make history.
Good thing I coincidentally purchased the perfect head and eye gear yesterday on post-holiday sale for 25¢ a pack, so you too could clearly see and be inspired by the heroic Don, the Barber, Sancho, and the Helmet.
