Well, It looks like Season 680 has come to an end. I have been having some technical difficulties with this post. Every once in a while the whole post will get hi-lighted and when I hit a key, it will disappear. Since this is my third try, I believe I will post, then edit after every 3 or 4 lines.
Please inform me and accept my apologies if I have left anyone off the Playlist.
-It was great seeing Edith AKA TheDith make a reappearance, this time without Dad, but with Eddie and Milo helping out. I hope we see more of this trio in the future. Of course it'd be wonderful to see Bob & TheDith too.
-It's always a pleasure to see a submission from Joo and/or Jon as well. They always seem to be having so much fun and their interaction, both musical and otherwise makes me feel good. Sorry to see some of your contributions have disappeared Jon.
-Jim P. never disappoints both live at our Saturday Zoom meetings and on the Seasons. We must listen to different types of music, since his contributions are always unfamiliar to me, but I'm always impressed and this was no exception.
-I really liked the follow the leader, call & response, between Ralf's vocals and his ukulele lines. Chickens seem to be a popular food in song.
-I've been hearing and enjoying more instrumental music from Sabine lately. Her contributions from The Playford Collection are quite adventurous and I loved the improvisation.
-Elmann gave us an old Hank Williams standard that I've always loved and in the process, showed me a neat shuffle in the key of A. Thanks Elmann.
I can't choose a winner this season and music doesn't need to be a competition, so I'll close with a FOOD joke.
My niece recently reminded me of a broccoli joke (I have a few broccoli jokes, but this one's clean) that I told her about 25 years ago. She must have liked it, because she told it to her class at school during Show & Tell period.
Q - What's the difference between broccoli and boogers?
A - Kids won't eat broccoli.
