So I was trying to think of songs that mention fruit, and I suddenly remembered this one. But I didn’t know where I knew it from, and I didn’t know the original artist. So I assumed it was from way back, and that I’d just forgotten the details. But when I Googled it, I was shocked to discover that it was far more recent than I ever imagined, 2020, and the original artist was Harry Styles. He also co-wrote the song. But I have listened to very little of his music, only covered one of his songs (Matilda), and would never have associated this one with him. So how did I know it? After a little more digging, I discovered that it was recently used in a Kia TV advert, which must be where I heard it. And it’s a great song! And, according to Harry himself, is actually about another kind of fruitiness - the female orgasm, no less! Do I get bonus points for that? 😉
