Time for another from me - Shine on Harvest Moon. It debuted in the Ziegfield Follies Broadway revue in 1908 and was a big song and dance number. There are lots of versions out there - the Laurel and Hardy version is notable, and ukulele-based. Fellow British people of a certain age might recall the show "Shine on Harvey Moon."
Usually it's only the chorus that's remembered. I always played it with the first verse as an introduction, but only this year I realised there were two full verses. The months and ordering in the chorus varies -the version I did flows best for me, and I copied Leon Redbone (and Phil Doleman, who first taught me this - the intrumental is based on Lyle Ritz's book). The hat is a nod to Leon Redbone.

Oh, and I accidentally knocked the gain to maximum on the mic. Future songs will have less background hiss, but for such an old song I kind of like the effect.
