SOTU 726: Space Oddity

DesertPavement

Thanks for hosting Edwin. This one mentions stars and the cosmos.

OnlyUkeThatMatters

Slipping in Echo and the Bunnymen's "Killing Moon"…

MsBean

One from a 1909 musical, The Man Who Owns Broadway, by Geo. Cohan.

Jupiter and Mars are in the lyrics, even if the 'star' is not a heavenly star.

Thanks for hosting, Edwin!

Edwin

Hi everyone! With that final contribution from Sabine, that brings this intergalactic week to an end. Thanks for all the songs! I believe I have caught up with everything, but please shout if I have missed something. I count 44 songs from 24 seasonistas, which seems a pretty good turnout to me. Special mentions must go to @dr_mitch and @potmo for being particularly productive, with @AlanDP and @CanadaJim not far behind. (And thanks for my favourite, Birdhouse in Your Soul 🙂). Also lovely to hear the originals from @UkeCan1, @musicalmoobslap, @Barbablanca, @dr_mitch and @Nearsighted-Lemon-McKay. (And I hope I haven't forgotten any others… always a risk when making a list, so apologies if I did!)

Now, it's time to focus on our obsessions over in Season 727. See you there!

Thanks for a great Season and a nice prompt wrap-up, Edwin @Edwin ! 🙂

potmo

Corrected "Talking to the Moon".

My apologies, @EdwinAdmin . I am a senile stoner with attention deficit disorder so sometimes... I clipped the forty seconds off, if you want to update the playlist, I'd appreciate it as I am going to be deleting the old one ASAP
