Good evening (BST where I reside). Yes. you've got me again, sorry about that. David (Potmo) was scheduled to do this week but he's got an unexpected large project to deal with, he asked if anyone would take over so here I am !

Simple theme this week, WHAT'S IN A DAY ?

Being purely subjective I would say that a day consists of MORNING, AFTERNOON, EVENING and NIGHT.

All I want from you good folks this week is any song that contains at least one of the aforementioned words in the title or lyrics.

All the usual rules apply and there's no song limit, have fun.

Thanks for hosting this Season! Here is a song by an artist from Calgary, Alberta (couple hours north of me) named Tate McRae. The song is called "She's All I Wanna Be", and it mentions the word 'night' once in the second verse. (Yeah, I'm a sucker for angsty, drama filled songs)

Always liked this one. A hit in Oz in the mid 70's by Doug Ashdown. I think the only other place it charted was The Netherlands. It is from the viewpoint of an Australian ex pat in the US. " Winter In America'. Doug deserved more success. Very good writer and great voice.

CanadaJim What is a "Monday Twofer"?

A twofer done on Monday. The overlap day in my timezone goes from 8pm Sunday to 8pm Monday. Generally the new theme is posted early Sunday morning, so that gives me two full days for twofers. So I will often do a twofer on Sunday and a second one on Monday.

It's Tuesday now, so this is not a twofer - but it's what I might call a grand slam - it covers all four of the specified keywords … plus a bunch of other time of day terms.
