Here's my Monday twofer for you, Val. It's a bit of a stretch, but maybe you'll allow it.
As David mentioned on 761, there are heaps of easy twofer songs available this week, but I was still looking for the perfect one. Well, this ain't it exactly, but then maybe it is. At least I have an inkling both hosts may feel some kinda way about it, as I do.
When I searched for "feet" for you, this song came up, and immediately I wanted to do it. I was dismayed to realize the single word "feet" in the song is the 12-inch measuring kind, not the anatomical kind. So I added a line with "walk" to brazenly and Thorntonly shoehorn it in for you.
(It's a more direct hit for 761 - it has traveling around the world, men in pickup trucks, and making people move.)
Anyway, I couldn't resist - it is as timely today as it was when it was written.
And when was that, you ask?
2025?
2017?
My friends, in fact, it is from 2007.
And apparently we still haven't gotten the rather obvious message herein.
