The theme is seasonal songs, and the season is … summer! This song perfectly captures the kind of summer it’s been so far here in Queensland.
I hope you’ll forgive me not bringing a holiday song today - I’m about holidayed out at the moment. I’ve been learning and performing Christmas songs since early October with my new chorus, Brisbane City Sounds. Today we wrapped our holiday season by caroling all through the hospital where one of our members works. A very moving finale to a wonderful season singing seasonal songs with my singing sisters.
I’m happy to watch everyone else’s holiday songs … and you never know, my Christmas spirit may return later in the week. But for today, I’m full up.
