I thought I will share a couple tiny moments with you all about the lovely lady who was told by her doctor she doesn't have much time left to live. we hope she will prove the doctor wrong!
I saw her relaxing on the front porch with my neighbour the other day. The folks living in the house opposite theirs have left their Halloween decorations on their front porch - 2 life sized skeletons seating on chairs. Both houses have the front porch facing each other, separated by a road. Geraldine laughed as she told me - that's me and Dave there!
Dave told me another day he went to put some flowers on the gravestones of his and Geraldine's loved ones. And with a grin he added: I thought I would put some on mine too when I am still here.
I hope their humour and laughter, and most of all their love and support for each other will help them in these next weeks and months!
